You sure it is your ISP that blocks all the ports and not the settings on your router and/or firewall?

comment Dell Windows 7 recovery disk, lost Cd key
From another computer you can download Ubuntu for free, burn it on a CD, boot up from it, do not install it but choose the "I want to test Ubuntu" (or something in those lines), open the terminal and sudo lshw will give you your machine SN

@Xantec There are other ways to retrieve a S/N on a computer. There's all kind of software available for that. He can always boot up from an Ubuntu CD and sudo lshw in the terminal

@Petah - Are you working on network files when this happens. Are you using Outlook, are the archives stores remotely?

@Nick T -The best bet would be to go see the tech support at your school, they might have a procedure in place.

comment Can you cleanup the “Users” folder in Windows 7 from information/saved data whose corresponding application has been removed?
@F1234k I don't think there is such a program since the folders that are left are not dependent on anything at this point. A half manual solution could be to go through the folders on one computer and create a batch file that you could run on the other computers. This will work if all the machines had the same softwares installed.
