comment LibreOffice application background is black and cannot be changed
Try to rename the LibreOffice User directory when LO is closed: ~/.config/libreoffice/4 to ~/.config/libreoffice/4.old so LO creates a new config directory on next start.

comment Open Office or microsoft word on windows 8, or any other text software that allows me doing this
Same for LibreOffice. Hit CTRL+F, enter search text, click "find all" -> all matches are highlighted. Or do you need a different funcionality?

comment Libre Office Writer, Line Is Wrong Color
How did you choose the color? Using the "Drawing Object Properties" toolbar? Which color did you set? Line color or filling color? Which version of LibreOffice, which OS (just because i can't reproduce this with LO 4.2.7.2 on Linux Mint)

comment OpenOffice Rounding: How can I make the displayed version of a number count as it is and not as it was before the format?
I've linked the OpenOffice docs and added an example. If you want to drop the decimals (round to integer), the "places" parameter should be 0.
