comment How do I consistently keep my RAM usage low?
@Adel Probably those apps cause a lot of disk reads/writes and that's why your computer slows down. RAM usage doesn't directly impact performance.

comment DVD ROM keeps spining at random times
Random disk spinning is usually caused by other software that is browsing through local storage media.

comment Change Windows Desktop Background command line
That's the tricky part, you would have to generate an image which is filled with RGB values.

comment Change Windows Desktop Background command line
Not a solution, but a workaround (that's why I won't post it as an answer): you could copy the new background image over the old one (the image should be in %appdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Themes, not sure) and because there is no way to signal Explorer process that the background should be refreshed/reloaded, you'll have to use taskkill command. Not the perfect solution ofcourse.

@Xepos Glad to help. By the way, Nirsoft has a lot of great tools on their site, never had problems with them.

Are making a virus? Because I see no use in such script.

comment Modified Memory too High? 16gb of Memory and a few programs open = “Not enough Memory” errors
If you want to get rid of Modified memory (that is done by flushing the data to disk), you can try RAMMAp. i.imgur.com/HEY2p6s.png

@user798080 You counted only the first ones. Also the system takes that memory too and you can't tell how much it takes.

@user798080 Probably you have hundreds of processes that each by one make a total use of 100%.
