comment IIS Express fails binding to IP
Have you added aurora to your hosts file (at 'C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc')? Try adding a line '127.0.0.1 aurora' by opening notepad as administrator and then opening the hosts file (you will need to run as administrator in order to save the hosts file)

You can specify '<ip-address>:<port>:<host-name>' in 'applicationhost.config' (found in '\users\<username>\My Documents\IISExpress\Config'). You can specify multiple bindings there.

comment How to gain access to Windows Users folders on a read-only backup medium
Thanks, I had already tried opening Explorer as admin which did not work, but via the command prompt (as administrator) I can reach the files! Another funny thing is that in Explorer the folder name "Users" is translated to dutch ("Gebruikers") while in dos it is left "Users". Crazy!

comment How can I protect my data from certain apps in Windows 7?
Acronis had a "Try & decide" feature, but in the 2015 version they decided to remove it to some users' dismay. Maybe because they do not want to invest in GTP support.

comment Specific ip settings for different wifi access points
Unfortunately both places support DHCP, but I found some ways to automate the changes, so I'll have to do it using script or a small app. Thanks.

comment Are there any ebook readers for Win 7 Pro which can display two books side-by-side?
No, but I have only tried a few. The Sword Project is one which claims to be open source but when it comes to the file format seems to be not that open after all. There's allot of other projects out there that I have never tried, and I guess ePub is a good candidate to be supported by such apps. I just thought to point you into that direction since almost all Bible software has a parallel translation reading feature. If you have the time on hands you might want to check it out.

There is very little (officially) available for IE, The category for "utilities" is empty at iegallery.com/Addons. Chrome has a few (chrome.google.com/webstore/search/splitscreen). However, you can always open two instances of IE and use the Windows+Cursor keys to quickly position them, just like described for Calibre.

Changed first sentence adding kindle reader as extra example since the first suggestion is not limited to Ibis offcourse.
