comment Format/partition/modify USB stick to be recognised as a USB floppy drive for Win XP setup RAID/SATA drivers
This would be great if the XP Setup recognized a USB flash drive. Short of finding a flash drive that has a floppy chipset.

Try the drive with another enclosure or get a IDE/SATA to USB adapter.

comment System hangs on boot
Killing a chkdsk process is risky, also many times chkdsk causes more problems than it fixes. Always backup your data before running chkdsk. Download a linux distro called Parted Magic, it has a tool called GSmartControl that will allow you to do a S.M.A.R.T check of your hard drive, it will also allow you to backup your data to a USB flash drive or external USB hard drive. partedmagic.com

Sounds like malware as I don't know of any drivers that are named drivers.sys, but could also be a hardware problem, such as bad memory or bad hard drive.

They are not folders, they are junctions, get the junction file in the above answer and run the following commands in a Command Prompt window that is running as Administrator: junction -d "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Music" junction -d "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Pictures" junction -d "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Videos"

How are you trying to update the BIOS using an ISO or USB Flash drive? If the later, make sure the USB flash drive is formatted as FAT/FAT32, as some BIOS programs have issues with NTFS...

comment Computer crashes every 5 to 10 minutes
The message saying an error has occurred, more than likely indicates a BSoD has occurred. If you look in Event Viewer and filter for Bug Checks you can see what type of error is occurring, you call also use a freeware utility called BlueScreenViewer to attempt to determine what driver or application is causing the crash. nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
