comment Worm memory card or pendrive
This document says "more than 300 tracks can fit into the width of a single strand of hair on the Blu-ray Disc", which means a huge number of tracks. To be sure, and if you have access to a Blu-ray capable writer, you could invest in one ordinary Blu-ray disc to find out how many tracks/sessions it can hold - M-Disc will be the same. Otherwise, only tape is left, but it is costlier.

@Tonny: This is such a good explanation that I included it in the answer rather than as a comment. Thanks.

Done. Thanks to Luiz Angelo for an interesting post that has forced me to re-examine empirically and critically my knowledge and existing documentation.

Your memory, like mine, may date from XP. I also believed the documents, but their authors may also have had too-long memories. I'll rewrite my swooping excellent answer this evening.

comment How to remotely Transfer Files directly (from my Android phone) to an external hard drive without using cloud service like Dropbox
@DavidPostill: It says nothing about using the same product for both. I thought at least to take care of the PC side. This is a great utility, but apparently not appreciated. I made this into a Community answer, to avoid downvotes and to signal my non-claim to the bounty.

As I said, consider my new answer as containing a new discussion regarding explicit and implicit permissions in view of ACLs stored with the child, so parent permissions inherited implicitly from the parent are not movable.
