comment I've ported my website locally installed to Internet. Is it secure?
1. If you're using WPA2, then you should be okay. 2. Yes they could. I've seen several instances of where a Wordpress site was hijacked and allowed someone to upload files to the site. Typically the most common types of breaches will be to install and use your server to host a virus.

comment Does VLC Player run on multi core machine?
This sounds like it has more to do with your hardware than the software. What CPU/GPU are you using? Also what are the sizes of the videos? Your hard drive may not be reading them fast enough.

comment Wikipedia Offline with Mac OS X 10.4 PPC?
Check out en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Database_download, you could build a local web server to do the indexing and searching. Not too hard with Ruby on Rails.

77 Deg C isn't that hot under load. My GPUs run about 100 Deg C 24/7 for the past 28 months with mining Bitcoins and Litecoins.

comment Can only see 1.6 tb with an 4 x 4tb raid 0
Keep in mind that if you're RAID controller is software based (which it looks like yours is), the RAID5 parity calculations will cause your config to operate very slowly. Before on a RAID5 software based, I was getting about 75MB/s write, Switched to a 3Ware RAID Controller and was getting over 200MB/s. RAID10 will not have this sort of issue since it doesn't calculate any parity bits.

@Bigbio2002 Raid 5 on that large of drives is also dangerous. Should you're RAID ever become degraded, it would take forever for it to rebuild.

comment Download network folder when available
@JochemKuijpers, Journeyman Geek is correct. You do need to have an internet connection. However, since it uses P2P, the devices do not need to be on the same network.

comment EFI Boot: Two independently bootable physical hard drives?
Do the two installations have different data on them or are they basically mirrors of each other? If they're mirrors then you should look into a RAID1. Though, a RAID1's size will only be as big as your smallest drive.

comment Issue installing gem
How did you install ruby? Did you use RVM or compiled from source? Chances are if you compiled from source, you would need to do sudo gem install btce

comment Why does computer slow down after not using for a long time?
You will first need to define what you mean by slow down. Specifications of the computer could be useful as well. For example, a computer may seem to become slower and slower after every use if the hard drive has bad sectors on it. This could lead to your hard drive stalling when it comes across these bad sectors. Fragmentation, Viruses, Malware and Large temp folders could also cause some latency.

comment web cam being used by other app
What happens if you reboot, are you able to use the web camera with the desired application. If you haven't rebooted lately, it could have been a locked or hung up process that is keeping the camera active.

It may be easiest to have a separate column that denotes the currency. Sum up with conditions based on grouping by that column.
