That makes it difficult then. Could you edit your first post to include your complete computer specifications?

comment I need a working VNC fast
"Which is teh quickest installing VNC out there " - This appears to be the core of the question, but what I want to know is why does it matter? You have waited over 2 hours for an answer to this question. Could you not have just chosen any acceptable VNC? Weigh up the time spent finding the fastest compared to the time it takes to install any VNC application. Also, can't you just connect via teamviewer and kick the other connection? Then just kill Teamviewer and wait until you get home to solve it. Please provide more information regarding the computer setup.

Also, should we not be concerned that there is currently a hacker controlling the computer of the OP? It is kind of a major factor in this situation. I think we need more information on the computer setup first.

I just tried it myself and it does indeed make the taskbar bigger.

I'm confused. Could you post an image of the entire task bar? I may have read the question wrong, but as I understand it you have a toolbar installed. Does it appear on the right? Also, is it a third party toolbar?

comment How to partition an external hard drive?
"There are movable files at the end of the volume" - In this case you may have to delete files (if the hard drive is nearing full) and then run a disk defrag. Sometimes unmovable files appear at the end of the disk and can cause a bit of grief. Have a look here: howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/…

comment File History vs Backup & Restore
As far as I have seen, no. You could use a combo like I do. I use file history and make regular backups. Although it does use a lot more space it is the easiest solution for me. Have a look at this: lifehacker.com/5958865/…

Have you tried chmod 777? Might not make a difference, but worth a shot.

comment Dell Windows 7 Synaptic Touchpad behaving erratically
It sounds like a hardware issue to me. It is quite likely that the overheating laptop as somehow damaged the components associated with the trackpad. Note that as laptops are largely one piece if you try and repair it you may end up having to get a new motherboard. They can be quite expensive. Are you able to disable the trackpad in device manager? Once disabled what happens when you try and use it? Is it still under warranty? Aside from the overheating have you ever dropped/split water or otherwise damaged it?
