comment OS X's “Send all traffic over VPN connection” seems to be failing
Seems reasonable to assume that most people trusting OS X's VPN settings aren't aware of the leakage. Not much of a VPN if you're "leaking". Perhaps this is related, but given the volume of traffic I see I think it's more than just a "DNS Leak". dnsleaktest.com/what-is-a-dns-leak.html

comment Does Chrome use a different DNS server from Firefox and IE which use the OS default?
Bit dated, but I thought I'd respond anyway since I believe this is misinformation. Google Chrome does ignore your system's settings first, and uses Google's DNS first (2001:4860:4860::8888). I've seen this for a while, so I verified with a completely fresh, clean system, firewall logs, and packet sniffer. I haven't witnessed the same behavior on other browsers and worked around this "problem" by simply blocking with my firewall.

comment How to control iOS Safari from OS X
Thanks. iOS Simulator is great, I can copy and paste addresses from desktop to simulator, but it isn't automatic and I still need to see results on actual devices. I imagine I'm wishing for something that doesn't exist yet, the ability to remotely control device browsers.
