Sophomore majoring in Computer Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Began with C,C++, and AP Computer Science/Java courses in high school. I'm working part-time for a small business doing IT work, programming private ASP.NET applications, and writing C/C++ software for fully autonomous UAVs and touchless fingerprint systems.

So there are ways to do this with third-party software, but nothing prepackaged in Windows to view this sort of information? That seems odd to me, I really thought there was some way to see it in the Device Manager or something. Ah, well.

comment How can I know if a computer supports hardware-assisted virtualization before I purchase the computer?
Yes, yes, I am painfully aware that this is really only difficult because Apple tries so hard to make it so. Every time I consider simply purchasing a macbook, I'm turned away by the fact that the cheapest of those costs more than twice what I plan to pay for my laptop. Alas, I must refrain from expressing my thoughts on that topic here. Thank you for your assistance :)

Ah, that seems to work for the most part. There are some where they (Best Buy) still skimped on the details a bit; they tell me it has an "Intel Celeron" processor, when there are 12 different versions of Celeron, and only 4 of them have what I need. Anyways, thanks for this.
