comment Edit any text input shown by a browser (mostly Chrome) with Emacs
Have you tried any of the solutions mentioned in superuser.com/a/262968/87552? Even if it uses It's All Text stackoverflow.com/a/10386560/789593 might be relevant for you as it talks about how to interact with Stack Overflow.

comment Flyspell save word to dictionary
Since this is about spell checking in Emacs in general and not spell checking in Emacs specifically related to TeX this question is more on topic on Stack Overflow or Super User. I have flagged it for migration to either.

@alpha1 You do not have it to run it under Wine if you do as this answers describes. With it you can use both the command line version and through File Roller.

Do not worry. We are all learning. It is just that such details are easier to spot in the question.

That sounds like having git track package management as well. You may benefit from presenting those details in your question instead by editing it.

For those unfamiliar with the scenario of changing drivers it might be help if you describe that scenario in detail so that it is easier to decide whether git would be helpful.

@JourneymanGeek C-_ means Ctrl+_ (pressing and holding Ctrl and then pressing they key(s) to write "_"), see gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_node/emacs/… for details.

Seems to be a reasonable feature for this kind of situation. Would you mind including a more elaborate explanation and instructions on how to enable it to make your answer even better?

comment How to define a shortcut (key combination) to insert “<tag></tag>” in Emacs?
@duperuser I copied the file names from the snippets for xml-mode. I think 1l refers to one-line in that the tag only spans one line and that 2l refers to two-line in that the tags take one line each, i.e. two lines.

@duperuser Note that you should up-vote useful answers to show appreciation (not doing so can be considered rude). I can see that you have accepted some answers without up-voting them. For details see faq.
