comment Does it make sense to buy an external SSD?
If the laptop has an mSATA slot, you could easily add an mSATA SSD drive in addition to the HDD.

Well it does include the Metro IE web history and bookmarks, of course.

It's only the data from Metro apps and some settings that is kept in the cloud.

MCE Standby Tool could help you find out. There is a beta version for Win7. slicksolutions.eu/mst.shtml

@user391559 The way you think worked for you before certainly did not work the way you describe. The only way for to select a different audio device is within the application itself. There are games and apps that allow this, but not all.

comment What does it mean when there are many POST requests to /wp-login.php in Apache logs?
@ceejayoz I'm not sure what you mean. As wp-login.php is not a static file, it will not be on the CDN anyway. I don't understand why these incoming connections seem to be coming from CloudFlare CDN servers. Perhaps CloudFlare also does server hosting?

Another thing worth considering is PeerGuardian.

Those IP addresses seem to be coming from CloudFlare CDN servers in San Francisco and Japan, which is a bit weird.

comment How does a firewall contribute in mitigating IP spoofing attacks?
Yes, and that is needed to establish the connection before any data is sent or received, as explained here - inetdaemon.com/tutorials/internet/tcp/3-way_handshake.shtml

@Alex That's because I get a notification anyway, as the comments are under one of my answers.

comment What is the edit command for 64-bit Windows 7?
@Alex Brief does not need installation. It's just a single .exe file that needs to be added to any directory in your %PATH%, and any user can edit their user %PATH%.
