So what are you saying? Use grep instead of findstr? Grep is not a standard CMD command, while findstr is. The GnuWin32 tools cannot be simply placed in a synced directory or flash drive either, so I cannot guarantee that I will have it on any machine I happen to be using.

Just to explain the reason: 32-bit shell extensions do not work on 64-bit Windows, which is why the context menus do not appear. It used to be possible to open a 32-bit Explorer window in 64-bit Windows, through WOW64, but it does not seem to be possible anymore (I think after Vista/2008 SP2).
