comment Can I use Hyper-V on Windows XP?
Actually, the Hyper-V role is available on Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 as well. Also, XP Mode was based on Virtual PC, which is not an earlier version of Hyper-V, being technically very different, being a Type 2 hypervisor, rather than a bare-metal Type 1. And none of these are virtual machines - they are hypervisors that can run virtual machines.

comment Need Multiple IP addresses from one PC
My ISP issues dynamic IP addresses, so I get a different IP address every time I reboot my router. Getting multiple IP addresses would require you to get a business connection, which would cost a lot more than what you are currently paying.

@harrymc It answers the original question, using PowerShell.

@laggingreflex But still, Process Explorer does not update the priority after changing it using wmic succesfully. You need to restart it.

@laggingreflex The thing is that Process Explorer actually doesn't show this updated information unless restarted anyway.

@JSanchez: Yes, you are totally right. I forgot to do that in my haste to answer first. Edited.

comment Search for a directory and delete it
I tested the last one, and while it works, it gave an error, saying that it could not find the parent directory. I don't know why this happens, so if somebody does, that would be cool.

comment DNS Lookup Nonsense
3) doesn't seem to make any sense. Are you sure you made identical A records for both @ and www, and have your webserver rewriting from one to the other?

comment Which Helvetica Neue font to install for sites?
Macs come with Helvetica, which is why many websites call for it instead of Arial.

comment Which registry keys need to be edited to change the default browser?
My original comment about gopher support was about actually using it within the browser. When I was first using the internet at university, using Mosaic and later Netscape, there was a lot more content through gopher than than the new 'World Wide Web'.

comment Which registry keys need to be edited to change the default browser?
Gopher is/was nothing like a file type or a protocol link that would execute another program. It was a completely different form of browsing servers. All the mainstream browsers have long dropped support as far as I know.
