I am a dedicated Christian who loves Macs. I've been homeschooled all my life and currently trying to finish up my junior year of high school. I enjoy just about anything that has to do with computers. I AppleScript and shell script a little bit.
I am currently a LAMP programmer with Inventaweb.net.
I have also been editing video for almost 8 years (yes, since I was 9). I started with iMovie HD and have since then worked my way up to Final Cut Pro 9 and Final Cut Studio. I co-founded a film company called OffBlock Films. We do work in the Central Valley and have a vision of producing a feature length film at an unknown point in the future.
You can find me on my sometimes updated blog: The Geek Tech Blog, on Twitter and on App.net.

How can I connect any USB device to my computer wirelessly? I did see the WUSB Standard. However, just like you said, there aren't really products out there. :-( |

How can I connect any USB device to my computer wirelessly? Thanks! This isn't exactly what I wanted though...I really need something more portable. Specifically, I need something that doesn't require a power cord. I'll add that to my question as well. |

What is the task “java” (parent process “launchd”) doing on MacOS X? Same here! CrashPlan is the culprit. |

Good OS X Hard Drive Benchmark +1 AJA System seems to work really well! It is really lightweight and gives you important info, but doesn't give you sooo much info that you are wading in charts of information. |

Why is Crashplan so slow to upload my computer's files? Seems like this worked for me. Crashplan is now using 2-4 Mbps and says I only have 12-16 days. Thanks so much!!!! |

Why is Crashplan so slow to upload my computer's files? Overnight is about 9-12 hours. I wasn't really paying attention, but it should have done more than that. The main thing that bugs me is the fact that my Internet is 3mbps up and Crashplan is only using 800kbps of that; less than half of the available bandwidth. |
