Snow Leopard: How to make camera show up on desktop like external hard drive Has it worked like this for you before? I've never seen that work with any of my Canon cameras. You could always use "Image Capture" and disable iPhoto from automatically starting. It's much more lightweight than iPhoto. |

How to install Windows XP on a Mac OS X using VMware Fusion 3 What is the source of the Windows XP ISO? Did you burn it yourself? If it's not "official" bootable media, it cannot be used for installing. |

/usr/local: No such file or directory The directory does not exist. Why don't you believe the error message? If you need it, create it. sudo mkdir /usr/local |

How to get Ubuntu running on VMWare Player? If you're talking about VMware ESX, then I would completely agree but I think overall usability of VMware Server is very comparable to that of VirtualBox. I use both on a daily basis. |

How is OpenGL and DirectX performance in VMWare Fusion 3? It's safe to say that if you want native gaming performance/capability, BootCamp is your best option. For running non-graphics intensive apps, Fusion 3 is top notch! (I was a Beta tester) |

How do I use a new 27" iMac as an external PC monitor with full 2560x1440 resolution? There are other companies making them as well. It should be highlighted that DVI to DisplayPort is not a simple adapter cable. There is a difference in the actual signal. |
