I'm a hobby programmer. I grew up playing around with QuickBASIC, TI-BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, and X86 assembler. Nowadays I do mostly web-development in PHP and Javascript and I've been learning Python and revisiting good old C++.

I have a long Windows background but finally switched to Linux two years ago and haven't looked back. I use ArchLinux on my netbook and have an N900 phone which runs the Debian-based Maemo OS. I spend a lot time improving my knowledge of Linux fundamentals and working out customizations to boost productivity.

My hobbies include language-learning, freestyle footbag, bicycling, skateboarding, running, and literature, especially sci-fi. I find motor vehicles repulsive.
