Bingo! That's it. Thank you.

@Tyson, those instructions are for outlook 2003. I'm using 2010 and since MS went to that blasted toolstrip, I can't find a "tools" menu, nor this option from the Options dialog.

I certainly can click on the "To:" field/button and, in fact, I have. I just know that multiple other email tools have had a quicker way of searching corporate contact dbs, which is where the contact dialog defaults to when I click on the To field. The auto-complete does work, but only for contacts that I've added to my personal contact list. I'd prefer, however, for auto-complete to do a look up from my corporate contacts list (which probably has over 10k contacts.)

Excellent! You have just made my week!

No, there is no feature like that. I've tried all of the obvious steps. In fact, I'm quite doubtful there is a solution to this problem, but I can't find where anyone has asked this before. Certainly there are other data-nerds out there that need to have their eyes jump back-and-forth between 3-5 sets of data in Access!

Excellent, the FREQUENCY function was what I was looking for.

comment Is there a way to synchronize my entire mailbox from Gmail, to Outlook 2011?
Thank you. I've already setup my account and I (should) be able to get new mail. However, I think I'm not downloading my old messages since they've been archived.

I tried to use it, bit states that it's an incompatible add-in. Odd.

@EBGreen, do you have a link? The only version of BullFighter that I can find is for office 2000 and XP. I'm using 2010 or 2011:Mac.

comment How do I modify user groups in Windows 8?
Thanks for this answer, and it certainly does get the job done with Pro. However, is there not a way to Navigate to this screen? Otherwise, I think it's a bit asinine of Microsoft to level this out!

I see. Yes, I've been using a darker-blue theme for years. I guess that's the problem.

Well, I feel like an idiot. I actually tried this, but since my tabs didn't appear to be highlighted, I assumed it wasn't working. Oh well. You already have 4 up-votes, I have 2 and someone commented that this "isn't possible". I guess this is a more common (failure of) observation than I would have initially thought.

comment Is there a way to print multiple worksheets into one document, with correct page numbers?
I know this is SuperUser (and code questions tend to belong on StackOverflow) but do you know how to do this in VBA? My users want a list box that they can use multi-select from the sections of the Excel document. This is actually a good requirement because there are a LOT of worksheets and mis-clicking, when selecting worksheets, is a very easy thing to do.

Aha! I see now. Thank you. Feel free to post an answer. After cutting on the Developer tab, I see that all I have to do is put the Worksheet in "Design Mode", much like Access and queries.

Unfortunately, no. This spreadsheet is worth a lot of money as a function, not just because of the data it is used to collect. I am positive there is nothing fancy going on (i.e. no special ActiveX controls.) Whatever was done to this spreadsheet was done using standard Excel 2010 tools and objects.

Apologies for my ignorance, the background for this spreadsheet was that it was created by a non-developer person, for a job that needed a MUCH more robust application. I'm writing the needed application but in the interim my users absolutely need some minor changes to the original spreadsheet. I've never used excel at this level and I'm a bit clueless as to how to do whatever needs to be done to make changes on my "switchboard" worksheet. I can change VBA code and forms, but this one form has me baffled.

@mehow: I'm not sure and no, I don't have a developer tab open. All I can say is that these buttons are on my first worksheet, they are not on a VBA form, and they located within cells but appear to "float" over worksheet. How do I open a developer tab/toolbar?

I haven't used libusb, but I did try to download it from Macports. It appears to have downloaded and installed properly. Try getting it through Macports and see if that helps.
