comment Laptop won't boot and screen won't come on
Yeah, sending it in wouldn't be worth it. I don't have a RAM stick, might have to borrow one.

What would removing and adding the the HDD do? What is also odd when I click F2(should bring me in BIOS), it sounds like the computer is booting up into the OS. However, nothing coming over LCD or external

I did....I tried every combination. Tried RAM 1 in slot 1 by itself, tried RAM 1 in slot 2 by itself, tried RAM 2 in slot 1 by itself, tried RAM 2 in slot 2 by itself, tried RAM 1 in slot 1 and RAM 2 in slot 2 together and tried RAM 1 in slot 2 and RAM 2 in slot 1 and none of it worked. However, if I click F2 the HDD light starts flashing but no picture on LCD or external display.

Pressing F2 on startup make me think it's entering BIOS. Because after doing it the HDD light runs non stop and it's acting like it's doing something. I plugged in external monitor(via HDMI) and i'm not getting anything on the LCD or external monitor.

Got the sound working again. Didn't have the RAM stick in all the way.

Yes, I tried each RAM stick by itself. At first when the sound stopped working because I didn't have the RAM stick in all the way. Anyway, I tried each RAM stick by itself and I put them both in together and switch the order they were both in.

@Logman No, there is no visual display at all on bootup. I also opened it and took out the two RAM sticks cleaned it with canned air and put only one back in and it got worse. Now it comes on but won't make any sound. So I replace the RAM stick with the other one and did the same thing. So I put both RAM sticks and still not making any sound. So it got worse when I opened it.

I tried connecting to external monitor and I got nothing. However I figured it wasn't showing anything on the external monitor because it's not getting to the OS. I'll try your advise on memory.

comment How can I increase the Hyper-V display resolution?
@Devid: I was jut confirming it still doesn't work at 1920x1200. My fault for the misunderstanding.

comment Can I get an alternative browser (Firefox/Chrome) on Win8 RT?
However somehow Microsoft is able to do it with Metro IE that runs under the same rules as everyone else.

This is not correct. Firefox and Google have full access to the Windows RT API and have no need to use the desktop.

No problem. I can't figure out why it's doing this.

So from a normal shutdown on the local computer it's the same? Must be something different because when I use "C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /s /f /t 00", the computer doesn't come on with mouse movement. When pressing power button or just telling Windows to shut down does come back on with mouse movement.
