How would you look to make sure the process is not getting respawned? Since I own the processes, do I have permission to kill that process?

Thank you! Did you say Wireless LAN and Wired LAN are both unaffected whether Remote Management is disabled? I think Wireless LAN will not be allowed if Remote Management is disabled.

Thank you! The command fails to connect. Please see the update to the original post for the failing information. I am now using school's wired network. How to check if IP is served via dhcp? Also I think the cause of the problem might be that I change my wlan0 to be monitor mode (see superuser.com/questions/44161/…). Thanks and regards!
