there's an -execdir option and a few others, depending on your version of find. You could also just pipe this to a while loop which explicitly visited each directory.

I interpreted the question as how to create the button. Have you looked at the convert tool? the -draw flag lets you render text. For example, look at imagemagick.org/script/convert.php
