How can I explain what a computer virus is to people who are not familiar with computers and programming? @0verbose/Doc: #2 is WRONG, biological ones can "live" without hosts, well whether viruses are actually alive or not is whole another subject we can discuss but there are many that can "survive" without a host. Also, computer viruses need "power" not just a host. Without powered/functional system, they are just bunch of binaries on an HDD. |
