comment How do I get UNR back and ditch Unity in Ubuntu 10.10
I switched from Unity back to the netbook remix UI on 11.04 and sure enough, the package I needed was netbook-launcher-efl, not netbook-launcher.

comment What is a “Mainframe”? What is a “Workstation”?
Also, the word "Terminal" meaning "command prompt" comes from those old physical terminals, as the "terminal" command prompt/command-line interface kind of acts like an old terminal (although no longer connecting to a mainframe per se, instead connecting to your own local workstation as if it were a mainframe).

comment Shut Down Windows 7 Using Voice Control?
I'm surprised that opening the start menu and then saying "Shut Down" doesn't do the trick.

comment Windows 7: What is \Windows\Temp?
It's odd that the files are in \Windows\Temp - I would have thought by now you'd find them in the per-user temp folder (:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp) or in the all-users temp folder (:\ProgramData\Temp). I thought the \Windows\Temp folder was depreciated. I wonder what program is putting those files there...

Hmmm... that does not bode well.

comment Is there a better way to organize my downloads?
You can't bulk-tag, but Vista/Win7 have the ability to add tags to some types of files. Not perfect, but not bad either.

comment Does Windows 7 64 bits work ok?
This is going to sound cheesy, but 64-bit really is the way of the future. Unless you have a compelling reason to stay with 32-bit, I can think of no reason not to go with 64-bit.

comment Windows Easy Transfer: Re-install programs before, or after?
Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for. (I didn't think to look under "Can I transfer programs" since I already knew I couldn't!)
