I am an IT "Jack of all Trades" with experience in graphics design, web programming, and server administration. I've even done some photography and acquired a wide assortment of other skills.

Unfortunately, the majority of my projects and writing are tied up behind my current job's firewall.

One of my public side projects has been working with a local Christian Rock group - Jesus Joshua 24:15. I've been their photographer and webmaster, having built their website as a class project and growing it to their current site. Additionally, I've been their roadie, studio technician, and helped upgrade their recording studio.

I'm not as actively active on any Stack Exchange these days... too many irons in the fire.

I can be found over at my sparsely populated personal blog from time to time and by my Twitter account. For the morbidly curious, there's more about me and my projects over at Wayward Son Developers and on my Careers.SO CV.

comment How do I embed video in PowerPoint with relative paths?
@DheerajBhaskar Pack and Go was the old term. In newer versions of Office it's called something else - I just don't recall what as I haven't had need of it since sometime before I posted this answer in 2009...

comment What's the difference between cc and To fields in e-mail?
It's worth adding that a lot of people's filtering/sorting rules look to see if their email is in the "To" or in the "CC" to help determine the priority of the message, and any other actions they may want performed.

revised Hosting our own calendar, to be shared within a team?
Just clarifying since I've been getting some down-votes for "incorrect" information... that was correct when I'd originally posted.

comment Adding another graphics card so I can have 3 screens
I have the top one, and use it at work hooked up to my laptop docking station. Works fine. There is a little lag (almost not worth mentioning) in MSO 2007, and one or two other apps; but its not like you're trying to play WoW or something.

comment Windows 7 RC Media Center won't index library if its a share on my NAS
I know - that's where I was. If the source isn't indexed WMC fusses at you and refuses to add it as a source. Or at least it did when I first posted. Maybe there's been a patch since then. Ramping up the storage in my Media Center has still turned out to be the best option - for the simple reason that I can also run Carbonite in the background and sleep a little better.

comment Dell Inspiron 9300 Laptop forgets External monitor (Westinghouse LCD TV) resolution setting on reboot
I wonder if its related to an update from MS. I've recently had a similar problem with a laptop I'm using as a Media Center in the kitchen. My solution so far has been to not turn it off unless required for an update...

comment Run Flyff without elevating user to Admin or requiring Admin Password
You can, but as I mentioned I have checked the "Run as Admin" option on the shortcut's properties to no avail. It still requires an Admin account or at least an Admin's password.
