A teenager with a passion for all things computers! I have cerebral palsy so computers have been my best, and I've got the most out of them. I've taught myself AutoIt, Java, and a bit of most web languages, including PHP and HTML, as now own about six domains and I'm in the process of starting my own business. I don't confess to know everything about anything and I know I have A LOT to learn but I do what I can and try to help out where I can. I think I'm the biggest 'Guru' of the family!

comment Water speakers without the sound output?
Thank you for your detailed answer. My main issue was that I wasn't actually sure on the technical details even though I knew about the physics of the sound. I knew I could produce sound of a frequency outside the human hearing range, but I didn't think about the limitations of the circuitry in the speakers... there was me thinking I was being clever.

comment Water speakers without the sound output?
Thanks for this, I knew it could be done by physically changing the circuitry but I didn't really want to have to take them apart and I also wanted to be able to hear the sound when I wanted to, but from @Psycogeek's answer it looks like it's the only way so I'll just have to implement a switch

comment What are the benefits of using a proxy?
@antik My apologies. I have editted my answer as I must have been typing too fast and forgot to add a vital keyword! I added that statement as I intended to clarify that this was not how a proxy worked due to the fact it was mentioned in the question. I've also changed the langauge to rectify the ambiguity about encryption.

comment Can I import my emails from Outlook 2010 to the Windows 8 mail app?
@magicandre1981 Well that's a shame. Is there a third party application that will allow me to do this? I know I could install Outlook 2010 but I'd have preferred to use the Mail app.

Thanks for your answer, I like the idea but in this situation, antivirus programs weren't the issue here. Useful answer for others though, and I clearly need to add a backup fail-safe location, so +1

@Ramhound Fair enough, I suppose we can't really know the reason. I haven't added an answer yet because I wanted to see if anyone else could provide a good answer as to why this may have happened and all the possible solutions, but I will add my answer soon.

@Ramhound Surely even so I shouldn't have had to enable the hidden admin account to gain ownership though? I don't normally use registry hacks, and I'm sure that I haven't had a virus for a long time.

@Ramhound I used the reg file to add the 'Take Ownership' option to the context menu, and then used that option on the folder. If this is wrong, can you please tell me the right way?
