comment Disable DRM in Evince
The thing is that I'm using the Windows version of Evince, and I'm not sure what kinds of configuration utilities are supposed to be used for this or how to perform these equivalent configurations. Evince does not allow me to save an edited copy of a PDF with protections on it. Evince was installed to "AppData\Local\Apps\Evince-2.32.0.145\bin". Should I add a configuration file? Are these config editors something that can be installed in Windows?

comment Fedora 20 Gnome session over X11 forwarding not working
Can you please elaborate; how do I make this setting? Is it a function of the server I'm connecting to or of my SSH client? I'm connecting from Cygwin using XTerm, with the "ssh -X" / "ssh -Y" commands.

Sorry but calling xhost + before the command doesn't solve the problem.

comment How to use remote microphone on Remote Desktop
You've missed the point of the question. I want to use the remote PC's microphone, not redirect the mic from the connecting computer to the remote computer. I want computer "A" to remote-desktop into computer "B" and make "B" record from "B"'s own microphone.

Yes, I am trying to use Remote Desktop in the "eavesdrop" mode by using the remote microphone. Why isn't this possible?
