comment Boot setup option is being skipped, Windows launches right away
Should try enter BIOS and set 1st booting decice to USB drive (some mainboards, the external flash drive doesn't show in USB harddisk list, but in Harddisk>>'List of both fixed hardrive and removable drives'). Most mainboard also has got a setting to allow user display full startup process without skipping anything (OEM logo, statics, etc...)

comment How can I display miter lines on sketchup drawings rendered with vray?
I don't see lines effect on other part of rendered image? Basically you didn't setup wireframe or something like that when render in Sketchup... So it's just normal rendered image. If you want to add wireframe effect to it, you've to set it in material setting, I assume. But the 2nd image shows no attemps of displaying line in render, it's just a normal rendered image. Or I misunderstand your problem here?

comment How to make 7-Zip faster
@Mokubai 9.20 official version. And there's nothing wrong with graphic UI, it still displays 8/8 cores parameter in setting panel but when processing it actually only use <20% cpu. I did a quick research in SU for the issue but haven't yet figured out the reason for that odd. Just know that if I use command line 7z with parameter such as -m0=lzma2 -mmt=8 then compression ultilizes ~100% CPU but once I switch to GUI, it returns to single-thread mode or something like that... which make use of CPU in a very inefficient way (<20%).

comment How to update Firefox?
@AFH The screenshot told he probably use Windows 7 or at least a skin/theme in Windows OS. As long as it's Windows then it isn't much different.

comment How does Windows report a CD as 7TB of size and explain under the hook for me?
e.g Hardlink doesn't make volume CD size grown over its specified limitation, if a 700MB CD is full of 1000000 hardlinks of 600MB, the total files/folders size is 600MB*1000000, but volume size in windows properties still 700MB. Check again with all install volume you got.

But this's not the case. Did you really read the question? Anyway thanks for answer. The files/folder properties display size less than volume. And there isn't visible hardlink in the given CD. Can you ensure your answer about this "simply using hardlink"? because it's not simply does. And no hint of hardlink in the CD at all. And the volume size of those Windows installations only smaller than the total files/folders due to using hardlink, not bigger.

comment 7-Zip compression on multi-core computers
@akira Yeah, I know. Anyway the previous comment direct to member "ray pixar" suggestion - use 7z with LZMA2 to use all cores, but in my case it doesn't. About your numbers, I think it's logical. I search in this su site more times after reading this article and found out maybe something wrong with my current 7zip install. But problem only appear in GUI (graphic UI), it doesn't use over 20% CPU when I compress files with LZMA2 method. Only when I use command line with parameter such as -m0=lzma2 -mmt=8 the compression take 100% cpu, otherwise with GUI, I haven't figured out why it doesn't.

comment 7-Zip compression on multi-core computers
@raypixar Doesn't work for me in a i7 computer. Only BZip2 algorithm allows it runs full 8-threads, other algorithm doesn't run 100%, only ~20% at best. EVen LZMA2 displays 8/8 core in setting panel but when processing, it only ultilize ~20% CPU.

comment How to make 7-Zip faster
@Monkubai: IN the i7 4c-8t in my office, I can't get the 7-zip run full 8-core in LZMA2 mode whatever setting being set. Only method allow it runs all 8-threads is using BZip2 algorithms (from drop-down menu) which has lower compression ratio.

comment How to change the theme of Windows 8 to the classic theme?
@Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 Actually, there's CLassic Theme in Windows 8, and it still exist even in Windows Technical Preview 10. A programmer on thinkpads forum figured it out. He figured out that the classic theme can be restored for new processes by closing the handle to a shared memory section named "\Sessions\<Session ID>\Windows\ThemeSection" in the WinLogon process. He had written a quick and dirty program to automate the task at startup. More details, go to forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=113024
