Is there a flashdrive with embedded RAID 1? Why can't you make two copies? Because RAID 1 will create two copies of the fie. |

Is there any way to answer a phone call using a dial-up modem? I think it is harassment/spam (but not by you). Also I believe it's everyone's right to answer the phone screeching like a velociraptor. |

Am I secure from network monitoring software if HTTPS is used? Just wanted to add that there is a easy to use tool which helps to identify if the certificate you were served is genuine or not. It also cotians a quite in depth look at issue. grc.com/fingerprints.htm |

Logging into google on company computer This does not guarantee protection. If the company gave him the laptop they could have set themselves up as a authorised certificate authority which would allow them to intercept all SSL/TLS traffic without raising any warnings. This answer goes more in debpth about it superuser.com/a/103333/98211 |

Commandline parameters to send to user via Trillian Is there a particular reason you want to do it via a shortcut? Trillian's automation features are pretty flexible. |

Prevent user from playing MMORPGs The only way I could see this being done is to get a list of every MMO in existence to block them (unlikely). Or to use whitelist filtering which would require you to specifically allow individual websites (which could likely affect her homework). |

Prevent user from playing MMORPGs Runescape is one of the largest MMO's and it's Java based. There are also quite a few which are written in HTML5 and don't require any plugins. |

Why dose my Blu-Ray drive work, but I am unable to play movies, after upgrading my OS? Interesting. I just had a quick look at the trial page for PowerDVD and it says the that it restricts the playback of some protected content. Have a try at using MakeMKV. It should be able to decrypt the movie and save a copy to your computer. If you're able to playback that file (I'd recommend VLC ), I believe it would almost certainly be an encryption issue. |

Why dose my Blu-Ray drive work, but I am unable to play movies, after upgrading my OS? I haven't heard of PotPlayer before, but it appears to be free software. Blu-ray movies are encrypted and require playing licensing fees to get the decryption keys. Due to this it seems highly unlikely that it would be able to play commercial Blu-Ray Movies. |

Create a new file as a copy of an existing file in Notepad++ Ah, fair enough. Didn't consider needing more than one copy of the template at once. |

Create a new file as a copy of an existing file in Notepad++ Sorry if I've misunderstood you question. But if you don't need to save the copy of the file. Couldn't you just set the template file to Read Only? |

Water in laptop, not switching on @trpt4him Good work with the last sentence. You just know without it someone is going to think "I know, I'll put it in the oven!" |

How to stop word hover popups? Chrome's version of NoScript is called ScriptSafe. But by the looks of it the issue is malware related, so I don't think it would help. |

Unable to install software from a CD on Windows 8 What is the software you are trying to install. That sort of error message generally occurs in older software when it encounters amounts of RAM that you couldn't afford at the time it was made if you owned Jupiter. |
