I try to run the 'cmd' as administrator, get prompt "To continue, type an adminstrator password, and then click yes", but NO dialog box to input user name or password, wiered.

Thx, I tried the option 1, but the admin not appears. And seems that I cannot enable 'adminstrator' eithter since access is denied.

'gnome-volume-control' is provided in the package gnome-media. Seems that Ubuntu add some features of 'gstreamer-properties', while it in Debian doesn't have. I find the feature of selecting output device is provided in the routine 'gstreamer-properties', so the problem is kind of solved.
