comment My RAM / memory sticks got wet, can I still use them?
I don't think corrosion can create new paths. It is more likely that paths will be destroyed, isn't it?

RAM is volatile not because it have to be volatile, it's because the technology it used is volatile.

comment USB ports don't recognize most of my devices anymore after I cleaned my PCs inside
It is not very good to put the "solution" on the "question". Instead you can write your own answer if it is better than existing answer(s). :)

comment Can I improve my battery life under a Linux Live CD by loading the CD into RAM or using a USB key instead?
How does it depend on the hard drive? Running the Live CD either with or without loading to RAM doesn't involve the hard drive at all. Also, the user may need to access the data from the hard drive.

comment Slow file transfer on network between two 802.11n laptops (connected directly together via access point)
When you go to Network adapters and double click the adapter? There should be a field "Speed". Is it 300.0 Mbps or 54.0 Mbps?

In Word 2010, when I insert a picture control, it has a button to browse an image (seem exactly what OP's looking for). I wonder if it is different in Word 2007?

Perhaps you can simply run chkdsk and it will be deleted.
