It depends on the router: my NetGear router NEVER hands out the same IP, no matter what the original lease period was. Every 5-min sleep will result in a new IP for the computer. And the lease period is not configurable.

That command gives me a nice little list of resolutions, limited it seems by the maximum horiz. and vert. resolutions of the currently attached monitor, but by no means the output capabilities of the graphics hardware/driver.

You can find the output of the CHKDSKcommand in the Windows Application event log with the Event Viewer. The Source provider is "Wininit" and the EventID is "1001".
