I'm a full time database programmer and occasional all-around coder. Started with dBase II in DOS, used Clipper, Paradox, Access 1.0 through 2007, and now .NET VB / SQL Server / Windows Forms / Developer Express Components. Yeah, I'm pretty old.

A very useful tip - but note that "OR" must be upper case.

comment Can a Military-Grade wipe harm an SSD?
Where in his question does it say he only did a "quick format"? Whether he wrote to the entire drive or just tried to write over the specific files is unclear. What is clear is that some of the sectors containing his data were not overwritten. A single overwrite to the entire drive would have more than likely eliminated all the data. In any case, the question was whether he would damage the drive and the answer is no.

comment Teamviewer password has expired?
@Margie - Your question is perfectly appropriate for this site! The comments above are confusing the TeamViewer password with the unrelated Windows user password. See my answer below.

comment Word 2010: Create a Style without a font color
"You should be able to get what you want by choosing Linked for "Style Type" and Normal for "Style Based On" in the style definition." That's how you set a style without a color. I did go into a lot of detail on how this works but that's the specific answer.

@Ramhound - He means the To Do bar, visible on the right side of the Outlook screen when enabled. I didn't feel it was necessary to correct him since it was obvious what he meant.

comment Is this a good computer chair for everyday computer use?
Do whatever you must to get an Aeron or equivalent. It will be the best $850 you ever spent. Sit4Less.com is the recommended vendor. Everyone sells them for the same price, but twice a year they have a 15% off sale.

comment FTP - transferring files eats up transfer - how to optimise it?
As far as I know, you can't execute a transfer using Filezilla from a command line. Is that what you're asking about?
