Connection Refused on Host OSX 127.0.0.1:3000 for Vagrant/VirtualBox/nginx Rails App

Question

The Rails application is running on port 3000:

$ bundle exec rails server -b 0.0.0.0

The nginx/error.log is just confirming the refused connection and Unicorn log equally uninformative as far as I can tell.

Sounds like you need to forward traffic from the host to the guest. I'm not familiar with Vagrant specifically, but this looks like how you'd do it:
