I've been trying to run VSCode over X11 on a Windows 7 machine. I've tested it from Ubuntu to Ubuntu using ssh -Y hostname
and it works as expected. However, when I try to run it from my windows machine via PuTTY and Xming, it just fails. No errors given.
I've tried to run it with strace
as suggested here...
Is it possible to X11 Forward Visual Studio Code on Ubuntu Server 14.04?
And I get this...
sam@ubuntu:/usr/share/code/bin$ strace -e trace=open ./code

Is there anything else I can try???
