I configured LAN to WAN network, and everything is working... as routers are wired (from LAN port on main router to WAN port on second router). I can connect and have access to internet from router 1 & 2. When lan cabble is unplugged, only main router is working, router 2 do not have access to internet.

What i noticed when, cheacking lan setting:

  1. When routers are wired, ipconfig command is showing me DHCP address, when routers are not wired, whole DHCP line is missing.

  2. When routers are wired basic settings like ip adress etc are grey out, but populated with data. When routers are not wired, settigns are grey out as well, but not populated with any data

Any Ideas what im doing wrong?

  • Do not use the WAN port on the second router. Go from router 1 LAN to router 2 LAN. Secondly, log into the second router and disable DHCP. Enable DHCP on first router. – Narzard Oct 28 '16 at 13:41

Exactly what is the problem? You state that you "can connect and have access to internet from router 1 & 2." That looks fine to me. And also "When lan cabble is unplugged, only main router is working, router 2 do not have access to internet." looks normal to me. If stuff isn't working, do you have set-up seperate IP ranges or both routers? – freddy Jan 2 '17 at 15:49
