I want to copy a network signal that is already being broadcasted in my house and copy it on a router downstairs my server can have internet. I have DD-WRT installed on it as well. I would also like to be able to access my server managment tool on the repeated network. Thanks in advanced!

I believe what you're wanting to do is setup a Repeater Bridge. This will repeat your wireless signal (acting as a secondary access point), and will allow devices connected to the ethernet ports to access the main router. The DD-WRT Wiki has a pretty extensive article on setting up a Repeater Bridge.

  • Thank you! I have set up a repeater bridge, but on the repeated network I cannot access my server's remote card. – lunarcole12 Nov 27 '16 at 0:40

  • druciferre, I have done a reset on the router, and set it up with the steps on the page you have sent me. I can access the internet, but I cannot access the router that is the repeater bridge. Which page would you like to see but first I would like to access my server which is on my router that is the repeater. – lunarcole12 Nov 27 '16 at 1:48
  • I changed the IP for the router which is the repeater bridge so it would not interfere with the main router. – lunarcole12 Nov 27 '16 at 1:51
  • UPDATE @druciferre ! My router isn't even detecting my server's remote access card via WAN! Can you help me solve that? – lunarcole12 Nov 27 '16 at 16:12
