I'm using a CENTOS7 client with Virtualbox. I have 2 NIC's connected. The first one is on internat network (IP and the other one is on NAT (IP I was able to ping to google.com on the client, but suddenly it stopped working.

Someone maybe knows how to fix this weird problem?

Vbox network configuration screenshots and outputs of ifconfig/traceroute commands would be useful to help you. – Zumo de Vidrio Dec 22 '16 at 8:45
  • if the internal network doesnt have internet then its possible that linux is bouncing between the 2 nics. disable the internal nic and see if it works again. – xR34P3Rx Dec 25 '16 at 22:04
  • show output of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-em1 and replace em1 with whatever the actual nic is, which you can get from running ifconfig -a – Hydra IO Jan 13 '17 at 21:40

I can't comment yet but this seems like either an issue with the routing, specifically the default route, or the interface not being up. As already mentioned in the comments please post the output of ip r and ip a commands on the VM. Maybe even the output of the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX files.
