I have a problem with my home pc. Recently, I guess with a pirated game download, my pc got infected with some viruses and malware. Seemingly, I was able to fix it with malwarebytes and ESET antivirus.However, now my browsers are quite screwed (mozilla and opera, I can't even download chrome).

I was using Mozilla all the time, but now it seems to be broken. The google search bar and everything else that is connected to google.com is not working.Even youtube does not load properly. I tried all sorts of malware, virus removing tools and diagnostics thinking that it could still be some traces of a virus or something causing this.

When tracing route to google.com ir got to 9 hops, then timed out.

What can I do? Is there anything I even CAN do? I am comletely at a lost here. And no one on the internet seems to have had this type of problem.

  • Verify you have no hosts entry that is blocking google, change your dns provider to something other then your ISP's DNS, outside of that you have to be more specific. – Ramhound Jan 12 '17 at 17:35
