One Bluetooth speaker.
1 paired phone is playing audio on the speaker. When another phone attempts to play something on the same speaker, the speaker automatically detects this and plays audio from the second phone.
Basically the speaker should be connected to multiple devices simultaneously and auto play whichever paired source asks it to play audio.

Is this possible in any way at all ? Right now one has to turn off bluetooth on one phone, before the speaker accepts connection from another device. Very inconvenient.

Are there any receivers speakers that have this feature ? Suggestions ?

PS: Not looking to send audio to multiple speakers.

  • I've seen (but not actually used... yet) car decks that can switch automatically. It must be in the spec somewhere... – Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams Nov 28 '17 at 2:02
  • Bose soundlink color speakers do that. Connect multiple devices, play from any. – Tyson Nov 28 '17 at 2:23
