Recently I installed Ubuntu WSL in windows, but I can't paste text to the terminal using keyboard(like ctrl+v before). I can use right click to paste, but it's just inconvenient. Is there a way that I can use keyboard for copy/paste?

ps: Windows Subsystem for Linux, not cmd prompt. I can't use alt+space+e+p here.

That's not available now. You may see the uservoice page #13341399. Three are many GitHub issues similar to this problem. – Biswapriyo Dec 2 '17 at 15:31
  • I've never used WSL but isn't bash called from cmd or powershell? How can you run it separately? Anyway did you try using the context (apps) key or ctrl+insert? – phuclv Dec 2 '17 at 16:16
  • In my opinion, WSL is Linux shell in Windows. And I think Biswa's comment ends my question - just can't paste using keyboard. – Owen Dec 2 '17 at 16:22

Now this feature is available in Insider builds. See this link: blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/commandline/2018/04/13/… – Biswapriyo Apr 24 '18 at 9:21

@Biswapriyo yeah I saw it. That's awesome. Maybe you can make it an answer. – Owen Apr 28 '18 at 0:52
