OpenSuse 42.2 sets all new network devices to not configured by default. Is it possible to change this behavior to have a new network device getting a DHCP IP address as soon as detected by the system?

There is a ifcfg.template file in /etc/sysconfig/network. It is possible to set some default options there. But unfortunately these get only applied if a new configuration is created and not by default.

PS: I know this question sound a bit strange but we have a special system which gets some new network devices attached from time to time, either via USB or even a real NIC.
