I am running windows 10 from where I installed the (now) integrated Ubuntu. I also installed XLaunch and run it.

On my Windows Ubuntu bash I exported display by adding "export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0" to .bashrc file and restarting bash.

When I open Ubuntu bash from Windows and run "xeyes" I correctly see it on windows trough XLaunch. OK ! Fine.

Now, I have a remote ubuntu 16.04 server. On that remote server, I edited /etc/ssh/ssh_config and uncommented: ForwardX11 yes ForwardX11Trusted yes

then from my "Windows Ubuntu" bash, I do: ssh -X myRemoteUbuntuServer

When I log I see:

Warning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11 forwarding. Welcome to Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS ... ec....

And, if I run xeyes

I get: Error: Can't open display: localhost:0.0

How can I fix it so I can see xeyes from the REMOTE ubuntu server the same I am able to see xeyes from my integrated, local, ubuntu shell ?
