Ever since I upgraded to windows 10, the desktop background slideshow feature constantly screws up.

What happens is, I will set the settings to "Slideshow" and "centre the image". This will work for some amount of time (usually less than 2 hours) and then suddenly the settings will reset to "picture" and "stretch the image". I swear I'm not doing anything to cause this setting to change back, it just randomly happens if I wait enough time. I have checked the power settings and ticked all the relevant boxes to ensure that the setting does not reset, but no luck. My system has all the latest updates.

I don't know if it's relevant, but I have a multiple-monitor set up: a 1080p Laptop screen with two 4:3/1280*1024 monitors on either side.

How can I diagnose/resolve this issue?
