I have Nas server which has symbolic link to mount device connected by SATA.
/data/myNas/myfile.avi -> /mnt/externalDisk/myfile.avi (the file is on Nas) /mnt/externalDisk/myfile.avi (the file is on external device connected to Nas by SATA)
Now, I can access via smb to
/data/myNas/ then try to access
myfile.avi via VLC(Media player)
On OSX it works.
On Windows it can't open.
On Android, it can't open somehow requires id/password.
At first I think I need to put smb.conf
unix extensions = no wide links = yes
However it doesn't change anything, and I can access symbolic link in the same Nas.
ex) /data/myNas/myfile.avi -> /mnt/myNa/myfile2.avi (This works! in the same Nas!)
Is there any solution or give me a hint??
