I have five drives:

drive 0 (0.5tb); drive 1(0.5tb); drive 2(0.5tb); drive 3(1tb); drive 4(4tb)

Drive 0 is an sdd that I boot windows 10 off, this drive is not concerned by the RAID.

This is how I want to organise my drives:

RAID 10: Drive 1; Drive 2 Drive 3(partition of 500gb);Drive 4 (partition of 500gb)

RAID 1 (mirror): Drive 3 (remaining partition of 500gb); Drive 4 (partition of 500gb)

Simple Partition remaining on drive 4 of 2tb.

Disclaimers:

I am using windows 10, I do not have a hardware raid controller and I do not want to buy one.

I do not intend to use this as backup, I am aware that RAID is not backup. My goal is to get something out of these additional drives (whether it be increased read and/or write or slight redundancy) instead of having them as JBOD.

Question:

Is this possible?

If so, how would I go about setting up these RAID(s);

If one drive in the RAID 10 dies, how would I rebuild the array?

If drive 3 fails, would the compute be able to rebuilt the RAID 10 and RAID 1?

Thank you very much for your time, I really do appreciate your help,

Kind regards,

Liang
