Is there a way to disable javascript in Microsoft Edge? It was possible to do this before April update with setting registry key

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\MicrosoftEdge\Internet Settings\Zones\3]

This doesn't work in Windows 10.0.17134.1 but I'm sure that there's a way to fix this. Suggestions?

  • Did you re-check that registry setting after the update? – Moab Jun 9 '18 at 15:19
  • There is a possible second registry location....superuser.com/a/1168269/40928 – Moab Jun 9 '18 at 15:22
  • @Moab I saw that post but the solution described there does not work for me. By the way, what do you mean saying "re-check"? Delete, reboot, create that key again and reboot? – Kate Page Jun 9 '18 at 15:41
  • Just curious... why do you want to disable JavaScript? – egray Jul 21 '18 at 18:31
