Similar to chrome chrome://extensions/shortcuts is there any way to define a shortcut on FF to popup a addon in the toolbar?

  • You could use _execute_browser_action in your manifest to add a keyboard shortcut for the button popup if you were the add-on developer. – dsstorefile1 Sep 5 '18 at 7:22
  • Otherwise, ask the developer to add an interface to commands.update in the extension's options page so you can customize the shortcut to toggle the add-on's popup in the toolbar. – dsstorefile1 Sep 5 '18 at 8:15

For my concrete case is the lastpass addon. Is there any way to check if this option already exits? – a--m Sep 5 '18 at 8:51
  • Too bad if this must be set on the developer side. I think this should be a layer on the browser / client side, like in chrome... Maybe I should fill a support ticket in FF instead. – a--m Sep 5 '18 at 8:54
  • The option doesn't exist for lastpass, but if the button to trigger is the [•••|] in the toolbar then adding a couple lines of code to the lastpass manifest does the trick. Too bad I can't read the software license or I could post a fork with the modifications. – dsstorefile1 Sep 5 '18 at 9:24
