I have been trying figure out how to run a Siri Shortcut at a specific time or at an interval. Example: At 8:00pm every night, show a prompt and create a note from the input. I'm not sure if there is a way to do this at this time. I have also tried Calendar and Reminder events but they don't seem to trigger Shortcuts. The app has Background App Refresh on so why can't it run at a specific time?

You can't, Shortcut on IOS work on manual trigger and you can't schedule it What you can maybe do though, it's an IFTTT applet.
