I have an MStick wireless adapter for my desktop (bought from amazon). (Driver available here.)

And I have an Airtel Router for internet, which is a modem cum wireless-router. All laptops are able to detect the wifi signal correctly from the router, but this Mstick adapter is not able to detect the signal from the Airtel adapter. And the weird part is that the adapter can detect all other wifi signals without any problems (even my neighbours' wifi shows up). Only my own airtel router's wifi won't show up on the display.

I have tried reinstalling the driver for the adapter, but to no avail. I've run Windows diagnostics too, but it is not able to identify any problem. Can someone help me out with this?

  • The MStick works for 2.4GHz networks only. If the router provides 5GHz only then it won't see it. – GabrielaGarcia Oct 18 '18 at 12:02
