enter image description hereThe background color of my Outlook 2010 Calendar used to be shades of blue. A few days ago it changed to pink and red. I do not know what caused that.

I have Googled combinations of the words "Outlook 2010 change calendar background color". I always find just two solutions, neither of which works. I have exited Outlook and re-opened it. 1. File > Options > Calendar > Display Options > Default Calendar Color Dropdown. I pick a color and click OK, but the color does not change. 2. Calendar > View > Color.

  • When trying the two solutions you mentioned, did it make any change to your Outlook calendar appearance? Could you capture a screenshot of your calendar and paste here? – Steve Fan Oct 31 '18 at 8:50
  • No, it did not make any change to my Outlook calendar. Please note the top appointment shows that I color some appointments. – Lars Oct 31 '18 at 18:53
  • I added a screen shot. The only way I have found to see it is to click on the link "enter image description here" at the beginning of the question. I do not know whether anyone besides me, as the one who posted the question, will see that link. This is my first time using this site. – Lars Oct 31 '18 at 19:29
  • It looks there is a long meeting/appointment which lasts from 7/1/2018 to 7/21/2019. This seems the culprit. If possible, try delete this long appointment to see the result. – Steve Fan Nov 1 '18 at 9:37
  • That fixed it. Thank you very much! – Lars Nov 1 '18 at 20:08
